Ravindra Parchure was inducted into music at an early age, under his father, late Shri Shripad Parchure and continued his musical training under the late Shri Appasaheb Phadke. He also trained in the finer nuances of the Gwalior gharana under the late Shri Manohar Bhagwat, a vocal classical maestro from Gwalior. He was fortunate to receive the guidance of renowned vocalist Pandit Arun Kashalkar, of the Gwalior-Agra gharana. Learning under his Guru in the traditional guru-shishya parampara for several years, he had the privilege of living in the home of his Guru and freely imbibing the musical principles of the Gwalior-Agra gayaki.

Ravindra is an A grade artiste of All India Radio and currently a Hindustani Classical Vocal Music faculty member at the Temple of Fine Arts, Singapore which is a premier institution dedicated to the promotion of Indian performing and visual arts.
